Last Friday (13th March), we had the pleasure of opening the doors to New Forest Clothing HQ and welcoming ten fantastic content creators, alongside the Country Content team, for a proper behind-the-scenes look at how everything comes together.
It was a day designed to be open, honest, and immersive. A chance to step beyond the website and social posts, and really understand the moving parts behind the brand.
Starting the Day Right
We began the morning in a relaxed way, with fresh coffee flowing and croissants in hand, giving everyone a chance to settle in, meet the team, and get a feel for the space before diving into the day.
From there, we moved into the heart of the operation. The warehouse, the office, and the packing rooms. Seeing everything up close gave a completely different perspective, and it is fair to say the scale of our 12,000 sq ft warehouse took a few people by surprise.
When you run a business like New Forest Clothing, it is easy for the online side of things to take centre stage. What is less obvious is that every single product you see on our website physically lives here. We do not drop ship, and that is something we are incredibly proud of. It means we have full control over our stock, our quality, and ultimately the service we provide to our customers.
How It All Comes Together
As we made our way through the warehouse, we walked everyone through the journey of an order, from the moment it is placed online right through to the final dispatch.
We spent time explaining how our packing stations operate, and why efficiency and accuracy are so important. Every order placed before 3pm is picked, packed, and sent out the very same day. That level of consistency is something we work hard to maintain, because we know how much it matters to the people waiting for their gear.
Customer satisfaction sits right at the core of everything we do, and that extends far beyond just getting parcels out the door quickly.
One of the highlights for many was meeting our customer service team. In a time where so many businesses rely heavily on automated systems, we still have a dedicated team of real people answering phone calls and responding to emails as quickly as possible. It is something that feels increasingly rare, but for us, it is an essential part of keeping that personal connection with our customers.
A Chance to Look Ahead
After the tour, we took a well-earned break and gathered for lunch. It was a great opportunity to slow things down, enjoy some good food, and even a cheeky lunchtime beer/glass of bubbles, kindly provided by Country Content.
With everyone relaxed and in good spirits, we moved into one of the most exciting parts of the day. A look at what is coming next.
We shared upcoming product designs and ideas that are currently in development. This was not just about showcasing what we have been working on, but about opening the floor to feedback. Having a group of people who genuinely spend so much of their time outdoors gave us incredibly valuable insight.
The conversations were thoughtful, honest, and genuinely inspiring. It is one thing to design products in-house, but being able to gather real-world input from people who live and breathe the lifestyle our clothing is made for adds a whole new layer of depth to the process.
Stepping Into The Action
As the afternoon rolled on, we headed back into the warehouse to shift the focus towards something big on the horizon.
This year marks our first time exhibiting at The Game Fair in July, and we have been putting a lot of work into developing our stand. The team were given an exclusive preview of what we have planned, which certainly built a bit of excitement for what is to come.
Of course, no visit to the warehouse would be complete without meeting Gus, our office gundog, who made sure to make his rounds and collect plenty of attention along the way.
Then it was time to get hands-on.
We split everyone into teams and introduced them to our warehouse management system. The challenge was simple but fun. Navigate the warehouse, pick real orders from the day, and then pack them ready for dispatch.
It quickly became clear that a bit of friendly competition had crept in, and everyone got stuck in. Being able to experience that process first-hand gave a real appreciation for the pace, precision, and teamwork involved in getting orders out the door.
And of course, each creator packed their own order to take home, which added a nice personal touch to the experience.

Wrapping Up
Looking back, it was one of those days that perfectly captured what New Forest Clothing is all about.
It was not just about showing people around a warehouse or talking through processes. It was about sharing the passion behind the brand, listening to new perspectives, and building genuine connections with people who understand and appreciate the outdoor lifestyle.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who joined us and brought such great energy to the day, and would like to say a huge thank you to Country Content for capturing the day.
