There’s something quietly powerful about stepping outside, slowing down, and reconnecting with the natural world. It’s a feeling we’ve always believed in at New Forest Clothing. That sense of freedom, resilience, and grounded adventure sits at the heart of everything we create.

That’s why teaming up with Wildway Bushcraft felt less like a business decision and more like finding kindred spirits around the same campfire.

Who are Wildway Bushcraft?

Wildway Bushcraft are seasoned outdoor educators and bushcraft specialists based just down the road from NFC HQ, in the Three Legged Cross. They run immersive, hands-on courses that teach everything from fire lighting and shelter building to foraging, knife skills, and wilderness survival.

But this isn’t about ticking off skills like a checklist. Their approach is deeper. It’s about confidence, self-reliance, and rediscovering a connection to the land that many of us have lost somewhere between screens and schedules.

Whether you’re a complete beginner or someone looking to sharpen your outdoor edge, Wildway creates an environment that’s welcoming, practical, and quietly transformative.

Alongside Wildway Bushcraft sits The Fresh Air Club. A hands-on outdoor activity provider focused on getting children and families outside, learning new skills, and properly engaging with nature. They run structured sessions including after-school clubs, holiday clubs, and family bushcraft experiences across the South, bringing outdoor learning directly into local communities and schools.

Why We’ve Teamed Up

At New Forest Clothing, we’ve always believed that the outdoors should be for everyone. Not just the seasoned adventurers or weekend warriors, but anyone willing to pull on a jacket and step outside.

Wildway Bushcraft share that same ethos. They’re opening doors, breaking down barriers, and helping people rediscover the simple, grounding joy of being outdoors.

Their courses are practical, engaging, and genuinely inspiring. The kind of experiences that stay with you long after the fire’s gone out.

Built for the Wild. The Kit

We’ve kitted the Wildway team out with a trio of hardworking essentials, designed to handle the unpredictability of the British outdoors.

The Nightjar Smock
This is your outer layer that doesn’t flinch when the weather turns. Highly waterproof and impressively breathable, it’s built for long days in the elements. Whether instructing in steady rain or moving through dense woodland, it keeps you dry without turning into a sauna.

The Nightjar Trousers
Designed for movement, durability, and comfort. These are trousers that work with you, not against you. They’re tough enough for kneeling, climbing, and navigating rough terrain, while staying comfortable throughout the day. And yes, plenty of practical pockets. Because bushcraft without pockets is just chaos.

The Canadian Sherpa Shirt
When the temperature drops and the air gets that sharp edge, this is the layer you reach for. With its warm sherpa fleece lining and hood, it delivers serious comfort without sacrificing practicality. Ideal for early mornings, late evenings, and everything in between.

Looking Ahead

We’re genuinely excited about this partnership. Not just because the kit looks the part out in the wild, but because of what Wildway Bushcraft and The Fresh Air Club stand for. They’re building confidence, community, and a deeper connection to the outdoors. And we’re proud to play a small role in that journey.

Even better, we’re planning to join them on one of their courses soon. Expect a few stories, maybe a questionable fire-lighting attempt, and plenty of time spent off the beaten track.

Watch this space.
