The New Forest Three Quarter Length Wax Stockman Coat is made with 100% Antique cotton wax and is also water resistant. The jacket also features a check lining, large lower pockets for storage, 2 way zip and detachable hood.

A good jacket
A good jacket. Definitely sizes on the large size so do check the size guide. The only thing I would mention is the hood design; the two piece cut is a no, no, it makes you look like a druid, it should be a three piece design like the Barbour, that would get it five stars from me.

This is a great coat for the money
This is a great coat for the money. I love the wax cotton, the comfortable lining, and the hood. My only complaint is that the sizing seems really wide. I'm 6'3" and 185lbs, and forever deciding between getting a medium and large. Mediums are usually too short but they fit my build, larges are a great length but usually end up baggy. I got the medium of this coat because it says it runs large, and it also said the medium is for chest size 41", but it still ended up baggy... And the sleeves are a bit short. Unfortunately, going with the large would make it significantly more baggy and add almost no sleeve length! I wish there was a "slim fit" option

Worn this today in the rain for the first time.
Worn this today in the rain for the first time walking my labradorite. Absolutely fantastic love the hood which buttons across so that hood does not flap around.
The coat buttons up nicely over zip and has straps on cuffs with popers to make wrist to hand smaller.
Wish I had bought one a few winters ago.
Watch the sizes as are very generous. I sent first coat back I'm a large as was too big.Exchanged it for a medium without hassle or cost to me for postage.

Very happy with my purchase. The coat is generously sized, so you may wish to order a size down, as suggested. The sleeves are rather long, but I will have those altered. The quality of the coat is very good. I would have preferred to have side vents on the coat, but this is not a deal breaker.
