Nice Softshell jacket but too warm for intended use.
The fit is comfortable; the size Large fit perfectly for someone usually between a medium and large. I really like the addition of pitzips.
This jacket is exceptionally warm for a non-waterproof item, insulating very well in chilly conditions. However, it's only water-resistant, not fully waterproof. This is its biggest limitation: its warmth makes it mostly suitable for cold weather, but the lack of full waterproofing restricts its use in rain, common during colder months. It's best for cold, dry days or very light drizzle. The detachable hood feels a little like an afterthought. It has minimal adjustability and no peak, serving a basic purpose without excelling.
My intended use for this jacket was as a warmer weather windbreak but even with the pitzips, it's far too warm for this. It does feel pretty robust so I think it will be relegated to a dog walking jacket rather than an outdoor sports jacket.

The product is exactly as I expected it to be. It is good for both summer and winter and effectively protects you from ticks. I have no hesitation in recommending it to my fellow club members. Moreover, it is a beautifully designed jacket and it could be used in non forest activities as well.

What can i say, i had to go up a size to get the best fit but its a great jacket that wont disappoint. Love the detachabe hood and high collar and the pockets are perfect. Value for money for a quality item with the bonus its waterproof and tick resistant.
