The Monsoon Classic Smock is the ideal option for outdoor work in all seasons, designed to withstand challenging and consistently damp conditions. Its features include waterproof material, excellent breathability, and silent performance, providing protection, durability, and comfort.
This smock has a 3-layer construction with a PU membrane, making it rugged and waterproof, as well as windproof and breathable. The hydrostatic head is 10,000mm and the moisture vapour transmission rate is 5,000g/m2/24hrs, providing excellent protection. The outer fabric is 100% brushed polyester and has a DWR water-repellent treatment. The smock is designed to be silent and rustle-free, with a rugged front zip.
The smock features a stud-fastened storm flap, waterproof Hip Zips, an adjustable hood with a wired peak and chin guard, a spacious waterproof chest pocket, two large waterproof hand pockets, a drawcord adjustable waist, and an extra-long scooped back for protection. The cuffs can also be easily adjusted with velcro.

I ordered 3 smocks from NFC, 2 sizes and 2 colours. The smaller size fit with room to spare for thicker winter layers, and I preferred the Deep Forest colour over the Bark on me. The dark green is a lovely shade, coordinates well with my other clothing, and I love it, I also loved the sale price

This is the second Ridgeline smock I have purchased, this is my go to garment for walking the dogs and working on the local estate. I find the smock an ideal fit but it is big enough to fit a thick fleece or jumper under if the weather changes and temperature drops. I have never been disappointed with Ridgeline so will always recommend the brand. I would also recommend Sherwood for the ease to order and the super fast delivery.

Great buy! I have work this coat in rain, snow, sleet and arctic cold days. It has NEVER let me down by leaking or letting in a draft. Absolute must. Perfect for dog walking, shoot days or anything outside in those winter months.

Fantastic smock for walking the dogs on blustery / drizzly days. Comfortable fit with enough room to layer up for colder days and I love the long length of the arms. You can feel it's a quality item and is a pleasure to wear. I can't comment on how waterproof it is as we've unfortunately been lacking any decent rain for too long. I've had many compliments and my daughter has her eyes on it (nope‚it's..mine!).
