Great for beating. Keep cover crop and water out of your walking boots. Fyi these were too long on my mum 5ft 5, she bought the child ones. Fine on me but im a 5ft 11 female. Also the velcro goes at the back which I have since discovered.

Excellent value for money, but they do have their shortcomings. The wire for beneath the sole is difficult to get taught with the buckle, which leaves the buckle loose and flapping. Fine for hiking; not ideal for a quiet stalk
