This classic wax jacket is made to the highest standards in our English factory.
Our quality Padded Wax Jacket provides warmth and protection from light rain without being bulky. This traditional style wax jacket is cut long in the body and comes with a detachable hood and 2-way zip. The jacket features 5 pockets, including a large inside pocket. The inside is 3/4 lined with a traditional check cotton lining, the bottom is nylon lined to prevent water soaking up the hem.
Water resistant, windproof and shrugs off thorns with ease. Tried and tested for beating, farming, dog walking and general country pursuits.

Lovely jacket, great fit, right length in the body for me. I would make two suggestions for manufacture: fit a better zip - it can take over a minute for me to get the zip to work properly - a common issue with waxed jackets it seems; fit a flap or button closure on the inner chest pocket to stop things falling out if you bend over to pick something up e.g. a ball to throw for the dog.

Very good in icy conditions.
I have now been able to test the jacket in icy conditions and I’m pleased to say it has performed well keeping out the cold and wind effectively. I like the appearance and feel of the material.
Your size guide suggested ES. I previously had a wax jacket from another supplier which was uncomfortably small so I opted for size S which is a good fit for my 38” quite slim frame. I have a waterproof jacket from you size S which is also a good fit, particularly the high collar which is excellent at deflecting wind and rain.
