Very impressed with the quality and value of this jacket. Items of this nature are hard to find in the US. My items arrived in about a week, which is impressive! Fit was good with plenty of room to layer underneath.

Really comfortable, well sized so in below zero temperatures you can have another layer underneath. Just the right length too. Performs really well in the rain, much better than I was expecting. Having the two sets of pockets, one for stuff, one for hands is far more convenient than I thought it would be. I use it for work and walking the dog so work gloves stay in the 'stuff' pockets, and the nicer gloves go in the hand pockets. No need to go hunting for one or the other then. A long line also fits comfortably in the big inner pocket which is great to take the dog training

Nice thick wax cotton coat. Fits really well, hood an odd shape but don’t think I’ll use it anyway. Love it and a great price.

This is my second Padded Wax Jacket from NFC. Had to step up a size to get the arm length I needed. But good quality, certainly on par with or better than more expensive brands

The jacket is fairly heavy. The padding goes right down the arms. I wore out when it was 14deg and raining, it was a little too warm. But will be perfect for the winter. Waterproofing was fine, and the hood which comes folded up in the pocket attaches easily. The main zip could be better (one of those two part ones) its a little fiddly to get to work. I’m 6ft and 16st and its a perfect fit.

Very pleased with the jacket just what I wanted, I had a gilet from your company before and that has been good thanks.

Exactly what was needed. Fit a little on the large size but not a problem.

Lovely jacket, great fit, right length in the body for me. I would make two suggestions for manufacture: fit a better zip - it can take over a minute for me to get the zip to work properly - a common issue with waxed jackets it seems; fit a flap or button closure on the inner chest pocket to stop things falling out if you bend over to pick something up e.g. a ball to throw for the dog.

Tried on, feels ok. Yet to put it to a test yet.

I have now been able to test the jacket in icy conditions and I’m pleased to say it has performed well keeping out the cold and wind effectively. I like the appearance and feel of the material.
Your size guide suggested ES. I previously had a wax jacket from another supplier which was uncomfortably small so I opted for size S which is a good fit for my 38” quite slim frame. I have a waterproof jacket from you size S which is also a good fit, particularly the high collar which is excellent at deflecting wind and rain.

I love this coat, it’s kept me warm as low as 16 degrees Fahrenheit. I ordered my regular size and it fit great with some space left to layer a jumper under. I love the waxed canvas’s durability and water resistance. The jacket has kept me dry even in hard rain. I can’t wait for it to get colder.

My existing wax jacket was bought years ago from Yeoman's army stores, this is almost identical so very pleased

Very well made , waterproof and with a hood and nothing bad that can absorb into your skin unlike some waterproof fabrics and it’s made in England plus you can re proof each year to keep yourself dry it’s easy just look online how to re proof a wax jacket 5 plus stars from me
