This jacket has all the functionality you’d expect from a shooting coat yet its elegant cut means it won’t look out of place worn on a trip into town. It has an array of useful pockets including two bellow pockets, a secure zipped pocket, large inside pocket and fleece lined handwarmer pockets. The jacket also features contrast faux suede collar and cuff detailing, YKK zip, an adjustable waist for an excellent tailored fit and lycra storm cuffs to prevent any unwelcome gusts of wind rushing through the sleeves.

I had been using another outdoor/shooting supplier recently, but they had let me down stating supplier issues a couple of times. New Forest boast that all stock advertised comes from stock that is actually held by them. I was in the market for a tweed shooting jacket and had looked extensively online. Oh my goodness, what a bewildering selection there is from the thick end of £1000 down! After reading reading many many reviews I eventually settled on either the Maverick or the New Forest tweed jacket. I spoke to someone from New Forest on the phone to ask about the main differences between the two, other than just the price. The girl I spoke to (sorry I never got your name)was extremely helpful and helped me make up my mind and chose the Maverick.
I am delighted with my choice and hope to get man years of use out this jacket. Great service from New Forest Clothing and arrived in just a couple of days from placing the order.

Great value. Lovely quality tweed and good quality popper/studs. Ordered Medium size, and sleeves are quite long, so bear in mind as adjustment may be required by a tailor.
