That’s why we built the Knightwood range.
Named after the Knightwood Oak one of the oldest trees in the New Forest it’s a cohesive family of fleeces, gilets, and accessories designed for everyday country use. Warm, practical, properly made, and in colours that actually suit the outdoors. Built from 280–300gsm fleece fabric throughout.

The quarter zip is the workhorse of the range. The zip-neck opening means you can regulate your temperature without fully unzipping useful when you’re moving between action and standing still. Made from 280gsm fleece, it’s got enough weight to wear on its own on a cool day, or layer under a wax jacket when the temperature drops. Smart enough for a country show, practical enough for a full day in the field.

Same 280gsm fabric as the quarter zip, but with a full-length zip for maximum versatility. Easier to pull on and off, and works brilliantly as a mid-layer under a jacket or on its own on milder days. A straightforward, well made fleece that does exactly what you need it to.

Knightwood Gilets
A gilet keeps your core warm while leaving your arms free the ideal choice for active farm work, or as a layering piece under a heavier jacket. The Knightwood Gilet is made from 300gsm polar fleece a step up in weight with a nubuck trim and full zip. Five colours for men, five for ladies.

How to Wear the Knightwood Range
On a long walk: Quarter zip fleece as a mid-layer under your wax jacket, Knightwood gilet over the top when the wind picks up, neck gaiter in your pocket for exposed ridgelines.
For farming or dog walking: Full zip on its own, or the gilet layered over a tattersall shirt. Practical, warm, easy to move in.
Smart casual: Navy quarter zip with a pair of cord or moleskin trousers — looks intentional, feels comfortable all day.
