Unfortunately not impressed have had the coat a while and in the dry weather it’s great 4 times now with heavy rain I have been soaked through to the inside of the coat I have taken photos of my clothes being drenched
Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry to hear you’ve experienced this.
Over time, with wear and washing, the outer water-repellent coating can become less effective. When this happens, the outer fabric can begin to absorb water rather than allowing it to bead and run off, which can put additional pressure on the waterproof membrane during prolonged or very heavy rain.
We would recommend washing the coat with Nikwax Tech Wash and then treating it with Nikwax TX.Direct. This will refresh the water-repellent finish and help the water bead off the fabric again as it did when the coat was new.
Please make sure you follow the washing and care instructions for the coat when using these products.

Great winter coat and a good length
I bought this parka in readiness for winter and it had its first outing today (9° here on East Coast). It's so toasty and windproof and I love it. The sleeves are plenty long enough and great that there's an inner cuff too. I'm 5ft 6ins tall and the coat covers well down to my lower calf. The fit is roomy enough for wearing a thick jumper under and not feeling too large. Fits true to size and is really well made. 5* from me.

I cannot fault how quickly this arrived , order on Saturday arrived on Monday ! If you are short like me then it will come down to your ankles but that is just added protection from the wind and rain! My only tiny issue was it smelt a bit odd coming out the packaging but after a few days that has worn off . If you are looking for a coat that will keep you warm and dry then this is the one to buy 😀

Great looking coat, However its 10,000mm so does not withstand heavy rain and will make you cold and damp fairly quickly. I would not consider it for the Scottish Higland weather as the rain factor makes the coat not suitable for long outdoor days.

I’m 5’3 just over 10 stone so large 10, small 12.
I have it in 12 and 16. Huge strong pockets for a travel mug, great with poppers and zip and no velcro to get stuck on stuff. I keep asking them to do it in more colours (I had to buy the very similar in black by Didrinsons and it has awful hood material and is missing a additional mini pocket) Please New Forest consider doing this in navy or dark plum, black). I absolutely adore this coat. And either the large one that gets mucky or the smaller size I use for work gets used every day

Warm, fits perfect, kept me dry and fits perfectly. It is great for dog walking up the breezy hills, in the mud, out on a shooting day or whatever you do. The hood is oversized, but it can be adjusted at the back, and it is so warm. Finally a hood that is WARM, BIG and doesn't make my hair frizzy! Absolutely love this coat. Wish I have bought it sooner! True to size, if it gets muddy, it brushes off easy. Must have!

It's fabulous, warm, waterproof! Excellent value and surpassed expectations if I'm honest. I did size up to allow for many layers and am pleased I did - standing around outside for hours, layers really are essential. A great coat that doesn't mean I need to take out a mortgage!
